i do believe i am a fluent english speaker now;)...after living in the deep south for a few years....some of the kiddos i did education with....i couldn't understand...i got better at understanding them after a while....but....they used lots of slang...however, they were always very polite ..and always called me Miss Amanda...they are a bit more proper in the south than us here in the norhtern part of the states....but... that is a whole other blog topic....
and so sad...bernie mac has passed....i was surprised by the news...very funny man....seems all the good ones (comedians) die
